Overview
The Manticore is built around Multi-IQ+, Minelab's next-generation simultaneous multi-frequency engine. It runs more power into the ground than the Equinox line, which shows up as extra depth on coins and relics in parks, plowed fields and wet beach sand.
Its standout feature is the 2D ID map. Instead of a single number, each target is plotted by conductivity and ferrous content, so you can see at a glance whether a signal is a deep silver coin or a rusty bottle cap. Ten search modes cover all-terrain, beach and goldfield ground, and recovery speed runs from 0 to 8 for trashy sites.
It is waterproof to 16 ft (IP68), folds down to under 25 inches on a carbon-fibre shaft, and ships with ML 105 low-latency wireless headphones.
