Overview
The Equinox 900 is the detector many experienced hunters settle on for everything from turf to saltwater beaches. Multi-IQ transmits several frequencies at once, which keeps target IDs stable in mineralised soil and wet salt sand, and you can switch to single frequencies from 4 kHz to 40 kHz when a site calls for it.
Compared with the Equinox 700 it adds a Gold mode, finer iron bias control, tone regions with vibration and a second, smaller 6" coil for tight spots and trashy ground. The carbon-fibre shaft collapses to 24 inches.
